Young Activist Club teams up with the Washington Nationals on Earth Day!
On April 21, Earth Day, members of the Young Activist Club were the Starting 9 for the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park! The announcer introduced us as the Young Activist Club from Takoma Park, Maryland, working to get rid of styrofoam at our school and in our community. We ran out to each player’s position, waved to the crowd, shook hands with the player, and then ran off the field. For more photos, visit our facebook page.
